Toledo Marchetti´s Environmental Law practice covers the consulting at all stages of the project, including the following services:

• Planning: identification of technical partners aligned with the scope of the project to prepare studies and opinions; follow-up and review of environmental pre-feasibility studies; preventive consulting for analysis of potential environmental and climatic risks – due diligences; identification of stakeholders and alignment of dialogue between the environmental agencies and entities involved;
• Engineering: consulting for modeling studies aimed at mitigating the project’s environmental risks; legal review of environmental studies; in-company environmental law workshops for the areas involved in the project;
• Financing: environmental management interface with financial institutions; environmental risks identification reports; legal support and review of environmental compliance contractual clauses;
• Bidding: analysis of compliance with the environmental requirements of the request of proposal (RFP);
• Environmental Licensing and authorizations: legal assistance in all phases of the environmental licensing procedure; potential risks analysis aimed at the legal and environmental security of the project; mapping the potential for judicialization of environmental issues related to the project; consulting of creation, implementation and follow-up of environmental programs; legal analysis of the compliance with environmental license constraints;
• Post-project: legal advice to support and follow-up monitoring reports and completion of the fulfillment of the environmental constraints and programs.

In addition, our team is qualified to negotiate agreements and conduct adjustment commitments involving environmental agencies and/or the Public Prosecution Office; administrative and judicial litigation in all phases of the project, for the practice of Environmental Advocacy, aiming at the creation and promotion of public policies related to the environment, climate issues and infrastructure projects, and also to support green bonds issuance operations.
